Emerge Kentucky Staff

Blair Haydon, Executive Director

 A native of Springfield, KY, Blair attended Saint Catharine College, earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work at Eastern Kentucky University, and attended graduate school at Campbellsville University. Haydon comes to Emerge KY from the Governor’s Office of Early Childhood. Prior to that she worked as a director for 21st Century Community Learning Centers. She is a fellow of New Leaders Council Kentucky and a sister of Alpha Omicron Pi, Epsilon Omega.



Alexis Hebert, Deputy Executive Director

 A native of Chapel Hill, NC, Hebert obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Government and French from Centre College in Danville, KY in 2014. At Centre, she served as captain of the varsity field hockey team and a sister of Kappa Alpha Theta, Epsilon Eta. She also studied abroad in Strasbourg, France and then taught English in Perpignan, France.

Hebert worked on Jack Conway’s and Emerge Advisory Board Member, Sannie Overly’s, 2015 gubernatorial campaign on the finance staff. She managed the campaign’s finance operations in Greater Louisville and Western Kentucky. Most recently, Hebert was a part of the Investor Development team at Greater Louisville Inc., the Metro Chamber of Commerce.

Regarding her hire Hebert said, “I am honored to become a part of an organization that is changing the political landscape of Kentucky.  Kentucky has become my new home that I cherish and I am excited to work with such inspiring woman that are shaping its future.”
